SEFFNER, FL — Deputies are investigating a shooting that killed a man in a Seffner neighborhood Monday night, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. The shooting took place before 6:19 p.m. in the 5000 block of Bogdonoff Drive, detectives said. The victim, an adult man, was lying in the middle of the road, investigators said. He was pronounced dead by Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. "Right now, we believe this was a targeted shooting, and there is no threat to the public," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "I'm asking anyone who may have heard or seen something near Bogdonoff Drive to please contact us with those details."
