THONOTOSASSA, FL — A man was shot and killed in a Thonotosassa business parking lot Friday evening after a holiday gathering, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said. Investigators said witnesses told them that the victim got into an argument with another person at ASI Landscape Management before the shooting occurred before 4:04 p.m. "A holiday celebration should never end like it did tonight in Thonotosassa," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "The shooter is cooperating with detectives as they investigate exactly what led up to this shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call us at 813-247-8200." *Due to Marsy's Law, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office will not release the name of the victim.
