Join TWC for a lovely afternoon Dawning your Hats, Sipping Mint Juleps, Enjoying Chef Tim Wood's Delicious Bites and watching the Derby! Join Us at TWC in downtown Monterey, CA for a fun and enjoyable afternoon celebrating the Kentucky Derby with the official glasses and unique Woodford Reserve Bourbon Mint Juleps. While we'll watch from our barstools and seats on Alvarado Street in Monterey, California, we'll partake in festivities and this truely historical ocassion that Kentucky has hosted for 2 years shy of 150 years in Louisville Kentucky at Churchill Downs. Be sure to Dawn your Hats Ladies and even Bowties Gents (Fun, relaxed attire to the most dressy welcome) for this fun afternoon hosted by TWC and Chef Tim Wood of Woody's at the Airport. Ticket prices includes entrance for 4 hours, 1PM-5PM (race is at 3:57 Sharp!), 2 drink tickets for either our premium cocktails on draft or the official Derby-Woodford Reserve Mint Julep served in the 148th Derby commerative glasses and a lovely spread of small bites including Kentucky bourbon short rib sliders , Southern fried chicken delights both with a creamy slaw, a Southern toast to okra and other green healthy choices, a lovely cheese and charcuterie board and a few other Kentucky Derby inspired delights by Chef Wood and his great team! A fun time is assured by all who venture to TWC to enjoy and celebrate this 1.25 mile race by 3+ year old thoroughbreds at Churchill Downs in Louisville Kentucky for the 148th year this Saturday May 7th, 1-5PM at TWC Monterey!
