6th Grade Promotion Ceremony at Kaneohe Elementary School
The 6th Grade Promotion Ceremony at Kaneohe Elementary School is a very special occasion. Although this year’s ceremony will be different from years past, we feel that it is a milestone to be celebrated. The promotion ceremony will be held on May 26th in the school cafeteria from 9:00-10:00am. This EventBrite is to sign up and reserve seats for TWO guests per student to attend the ceremony. This will be first come, first served. When reserving your tickets please make sure to click two seats that are next to each other in the same row. The ceremony will be recorded and sent to families at a later time. We are kindly asking families to leave promptly after the ceremony concludes. You may sign your child out after the ceremony is over.
Those attending the ceremony will be required to wear a face mask at all times while indoors per DOE guidelines. If you have a guest that requires ADA accommodations, please reach out to your child’s teacher by May 20th. Promotion Ceremony parking will be available on the field or on Mokulele Drive alongside the school. Please DO NOT park in the upper lot or in any other staff parking locations. We are asking that you do not leave your vehicle until 8:30am. Your seat is reserved so there is no need to rush to wait in line prior to the ceremony. Room 31 entrance is makai side by the boys restroom.
Feel free to bring a lei for your own child to be given after the ceremony. However, in lieu of traditional mass lei-giving, we are asking students to bring treats, goodie bags, or leis for their friends the day prior to the Promotion Ceremony (Wednesday).
