Learn to cultivate transformative mushrooms. You'll get do-it-yourself know-how & resources. Insights on micro & macro dosing This 3-hour workshop is offered on two different dates. You will learn how to cultivate transformational mushrooms on your own with wellness intention. We will provide insights on micro & macro dosing. Each participant will have the option/opportunity to share her/his intention for the workshop and reasons for attending. We are amid a wellness, healing, and spiritual renaissance with the plant medicines and fungi. We begin with a short overview of a few Indigenous based plant medicines to paint a bit of the bigger picture options for navigating this wellnes journey. We provide a brief legal backdrop and considerations for growing transformational mushrooms. The bulk of this workshop consists of discussing the four phases of mushroom cultivation: inoculation, colonization, consolidation, and fruiting/harvesting. You will receive a single pre-made 6-quart dub-tub "clamshell" style grow chamber (note: not an entire kit). You can easily replicate more tubs from this model on your own with readily available, local materials. Demonstration materials & equipment for inoculation and colonization will be provided with gourmet pink oyster mushroom liquid culture and agar plate. You will also receive a useful reference book for growing transformational mushrooms. Also, a customized DIY (do-it-yourself) manual is provided including step-by-step procedures, list of vendors, supplies, educational/next-step resources, and projected cost outlays. Many mushrooms are categorized as adaptogens which are plants and mushrooms that can help your body respond to stress, anxiety, fatigue, and overall wellbeing. These fungi are now being closely researched by institutions and industry for their potential to improve conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, inflammation, and the list goes on. The transformative fungi can be agents which help promote rapid shift and change if properly integrated into lifestyles. The second part of the workshop will include instruction, then group interaction of micro dosing & macro dosing protocol. Several micro dosing protocols will be introduced during this portion. Often the richest portion of the workshop comes from participants sharing with one another each of their unique experiences. Seating for each workshop is limited to the first twenty registrants. The fee for the workshop is $155. You will also receive a useful reference book for growing transformational mushrooms.
