Early Spring, A Shot In The Arm

So many of us want to get to the season of blossoms and bird peeps, can't wait, especially this freakin' year. But I see spring right now, for reasons many of us might overlook. The days are getting longer since Dec. 21st, vaccine is in the air…planes. In other words hope, real hope is here. If you're reading this you are already a survivor. So as the stats keep climbing of hospitalizations, deaths, just keep in mind, if you keep doing what you've been doing you'll be okay. Don't get COVID sloppy and we can stay the course to survival. Sad thing is, more of us are at risk than others. And those at greatest risk are dependent on those others to get us all through. I think they can, if they have the grit. Too many Americans never had or lost their grit. It's about postponing wants, delaying gratification—for the good of all. I write about what I've learned about grit, and how to find it.
