A program hosted by the Literary Department at Mississippi School of the Arts celebrating senior writers and their definitive works. Bio of Featured Literary Senior: Lauren Stamps of Mount Olive, MS, plans to pursue a major in English Licensure at The University of Southern Mississippi in the fall in hopes of becoming a high school English teacher. She loves to daydream and watch animated shows and movies, which most of her inspiration comes from. She has been awarded 6 gold keys, 2 silver keys, and 6 honorable mentions in the Scholastic Writing Awards Competition, has placed in the University of Mississippi Pre-College Writing Competition two years in a row, received second place in the Mississippi Theatre Association’s High School Playwriting Competition, and was awarded the Eudora Welty Ephemera Prize. She has also been published and featured in several literary journals and magazines across the state.
