Recycling Zone is looking to hire one full time person to work in our scale house, assist in the yard, and cashier in buyback. This person will need to be very detail oriented and comfortable communicating with many people at the same time. The right candidate must possess basic math and computer skills and must be able to multi-task.
The position will require recordkeeping, basic customer service and administrative tasks in compliance with the state and its regulations. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with the following:
1. Directing truck drivers and trucks inbound/outbound on the truck scale
2. Ensures accurate records of inbound/outbound materials are weighed in compliance with the state of California
3. Maintaining records as needed and ensuring the loads comply with written instructions
4. Photographing inbound/outbound material for shipments
5. Must possess basic math and computer skills
6. Can multitask and direct drivers, the general public and yard staff
7. Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and in warm/cold climates
8. Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays when needed
