The Opportunity Based in San Francisco, we are a small landscape company actively looking for a fine-gardening plant maintenance technician experienced in interior & exterior landscapes with the possibility of becoming a full-time position. This is an opportunity to be creative with clients in unique and beautiful surroundings. Extensive training will be provided. Key Responsibilities • Interior plant maintenance and exterior fine designer gardening. • Own vehicle & clean driving record is required to service assigned routes to include San Francisco, South Bay, Marin & East Bay locations. Mileage & Tolls are reimbursed as well as tools needed to perform work. • Installation of small plant-scape designs, interior and exterior. • Attention and sensitivity to client needs and details is paramount. • Benefits include: 50% Employer Contribution to Health Insurance, Vacation Paid Time Off, Sick Pay & Commissions. • Ability to lift moderate weighted materials (50 lbs. +/-) is important. • Assist as needed with projects in our retail plant showroom, design office and nursery. Qualifications • At least 6 months technical fine-gardening experience working in residential and commercial gardens. Experience with vertical gardens, living walls, container gardening & orchid design. Some knowledge of irrigation a plus. • Project focused, professional, detail-oriented, punctual, and self-motivated. • Work well as a team player, but also independently with a willingness to perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks when required. • Able to track and report client sales for billing in required formats and schedule. • Must have own cell phone and be able to keep in touch with company through established methods. Miscellaneous • Represent Living Green Design in a professional manner when interacting with clients, vendors and staff. • This position will require attendance to regularly scheduled meetings with supervisor and fellow staff members.
