Fire Breaks Out At Mystic Vacant Home

MYSTIC, CT — Police are investigating following a fire at a vacant home in Mystic. Groton Town police responded to the call for a fire at 318 Old Evarts Lane at 11:26 a.m. Friday. Officers secured the property and blocked access to nearby roads. Firefighters from Mystic Fire Department, Old Mystic Fire Department, Submarine Base Fire Department, Noank Fire Department, Ledyard Fire Department, and Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department extinguished the blaze.
