Seeking Songwriting Partner, Band Mate & Collaborator

I’m a singer/songwriter who’s been in and out of bands in the San Francisco area for the past 15 years or so. I’m really hoping to find someone who would not just be another band mate, but a musician interested in a Lennon/McCartney songwriting situation. I’ve been writing at a fever pitch over the last couple of years and I’ve put together a band (currently myself on guitar/vocals, a bass player & a drummer) to start to flesh these songs out even further. Our goal is to be playing out and recording in the coming months. Ultimately it would be great to sit down with someone, play them a few of my songs, listen to a few of theirs and see if there’s some musical chemistry there. If all the stars align, have them sit in with the rest of the band. I’m open to all ages and gender identities. I’m only interested in your creativity and love of music Some of my musical influences and touchstones for the band itself would be: Wilco, St. Vincent, Neko Case, Spoon, The Smiths, Harry Nilsson, Big Star & XTC among others.
