The Tucson Regional Educator Collaborative (TREC) is excited to announce the 2022 Inaugural TREC June Summit, Saturday June 4th, a full day of professional learning for educators, birth—12th grade! This will be a great opportunity to bring the educator community together to celebrate successes/accomplishments and to learn from each other.
The Summit will be held at the University of Arizona campus's ENR2 Building. The theme of the summit is, "Celebrating and Sharing Successes," and will be geared towards birth—12th grade educators as well as those who support them.
The agenda will include a keynote from the 2021 National Teacher of the Year—Juliana Urtubey, a morning workshop session, lunch, and then two hour-long afternoon sessions. The morning workshop will be 1.5 hours and will include hands-on learning. The 1-hour PD sessions in the afternoon will address different professional development topics and include active engagement.
The three cohorts of TREC Teacher Leaders are planning the summit, as we continue to make sure our efforts are teacher-led. This event is for you!
