Press release from the Camden County Government: April 29, 2022 (Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 124 new positive cases of COVID-19 which occurred Friday, April 29. Additionally, there were 33 cases detected through antigen testing, bringing the total number of cases to 157. The aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 106,468 and 1,616 total fatalities. The outcomes from these antigen tests, unlike the results from the polymerase chain reaction, (PCR) are probable positive cases. These daily numbers are added into our aggregated lab tested PCR metrics. Of the 124 cases, 10 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 47 years old. Vaccine hours: Operational hours at the Camden County Health Hub vaccine clinic run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays. This includes booster shots for ages 12-17. To date, 412,749 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 363,857 have received two doses and 206,352 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Omicron variant.
