Bridgeport Girl, 13, Reported Missing: Police

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Silver Alert has been issued for Bridgeport resident Sommer Hinds, 13, who police said has been missing since Friday. "Sommer's father states his daughter left the house around 6pm on Friday when he wasn't home," Bridgeport police wrote on Facebook (see below). "The father reported her missing early Saturday morning when she hadn't return home & when she wasn't calling him back." Sommer is described as a light complexion black female, with long black braided hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black Champion hoodie and leggings, with black slides. Sommer attends an unnamed local Bridgeport School, and police said that her parents received information that she may be hanging out in the Green Homes Apartment Complex.
