Their poetic lyricism and southern charm are a surefire heart revival with a sound lost in time and revived by harmonies tight as a bow string. The eternal quilt that is Webster’s Wheel was stitched together by Daniel Lee Webster and Marie Robertson. Daniel and Marie both grew up singing old hymns and running barefoot through the creek. They played their first songs together in a little country barn with 10 chickens, 3 dogs, and a 50 sq ft vegetable garden. There was no way for them to know then that their heavenly harmonies and ear to the ground lyricism would go on to be described as “groundbreaking,” “incredible,” and “unmissable” by today’s foremost indie reviewers. The duo has toured many a hither and yond around the southeast from the far shores of Florida to the mountains of Virginia and across the Louisiana swamps. They’ve released three LPs in a year’s time and are now gearing up for four, five, and six. If poetry and harmony stir your sweet tea while it’s cookin, IndiePulse Music Magazine says, “The words that the singers breathe life into are nothing short of spellbinding from the start.” So come as you are. Leave better or the same. Gratitude is the attitude.
