That's why San Antonio Animal Care Services (SAACS) and San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) are joining the BISSELL Pet Foundation for a marathon placement party aimed at finding homes for as many adoption-ready dogs and cats as possible. Both dogs and cats can be adopted for just $25 during Empty the Shelters which runs from May 2nd through May 15th. Adoptions at each event are first come, first served and each organization's processes and policies apply. BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters event at San Antonio Animal Care Services and San Antonio Pets Alive! May 2nd through May 15th Dog or cat adoptions only $25 SAACS is located at 4710 State Hwy 151, San Antonio Pets Alive! is on the SAACS campus in Building one. Shelter hours 1 pm-7 pm* M-F, 11 am-5 pm* weekends *Last adoptions of the day occur 1/2 hr. before closing to allow for processing. Adopters can get started before even coming in by checking out the shelter's dogs and cats at saacs.info/petsearch. All pets adopted from Animal Care Services and SAPA! are sterilized, vaccinated with their first round of shots, and microchipped with a free lifetime registration.
