About Major Dudes: Major Dudes salutes the music of two of America's greatest songwriters, Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, known collectively as Steely Dan. This extraordinary 6 piece ensemble brings a wealth of experience and talent to their interpretations of every Steely Dan top 40 hit (there were ten including Rikki Don't Lose That Number, Do It Again, Peg, and Hey Nineteen), numerous excellent Dan "deep cuts", and every song from their classic 1977 record, Aja. They are multiple winners of the Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Tribute Band. Major Dudes' performance carries additional weight when they return to Otus Supply's Parliament Room. Steely Dan turns 50 in 2022! Their first album, Can't Buy a Thrill, dropped in November of 1972. Join us as we say happy half a century to this superb Hall of Fame band.
