LA GRANGE, IL – Two La Grange stores were struck around the same time last week, according to reports. About 4 a.m. Wednesday, someone broke glass at the AT&T store, 1 N. La Grange Road, in an attempt to gain entry, police said. An alarm alerted officers. The suspect was unable to gain entry to the storage area, where the inventory is kept, police said. It was listed as a burglary. While police were at the AT&T store, one of the officers went to the T-Mobile store, 115 N. La Grange Road, to check whether it was secure. The officer noticed a window had been broken, but no one entered the building and nothing was stolen, police said. The incident was labeled criminal damage.
