April 29: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Windwood Drive in Nesconset from April 19 at 7:20 p.m. Someone hacked into someone else's bank account and stole money, police said.April 29: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Country Woods Drive in St. James at 2:41 p.m. A thief entered a home and stole jewelry and weapons, police said.April 28: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Woodlawn Avenue in St. James from April 27 at 9 p.m. A quad was stolen from a shed behind a home, police said.April 28: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Fifty Acre Road South in St. James from April 26 at 8 a.m. Jewelry was stolen from a home, police said.April 26: Grand larceny (second-degree) was reported on Atterbury Drive in Smithtown at 1:28 a.m. A 2022 Land Rover parked in a home's driveway was stolen, police said. The key fob had been left in the car, police said.
