SCF to Offer Private Investigator Course at SCF Venice

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer a private investigator course at SCF Venice beginning Friday, Dec. 4 in Bldg. 800, Room 832, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail. Registration for the six-day, 40-hour course is available online at SCF.edu/CCDenroll through the "Private Investigator" link under the Professional Development tab. The course covers industry regulations, department rules, licensing criteria and investigation techniques. Those who complete the course will meet the requirements to earn the Private Investigator Class CC intern license and will qualify to apply for a private investigator's internship through the Florida Division of Licensing. Course Schedule Friday, Dec. 4, 6-10 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 5, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.Sunday, Dec.6, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.Friday, Dec. 11, 6-10 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 12, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.Sunday, Dec. 13, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Class size is limited to six participants.
