Profane Trump Flag Affixed To Downtown Traffic Signs

BRADENTON, FL – Police received several calls Monday morning about a profane Trump flag affixed to the top downtown traffic signs, a spokesperson for the Bradenton Police Department said. The flag was placed on top of a trio of signs – a "One Way" sign, a "No Left Turn" sign and a "Do Not Enter" sign – at the intersection of 15th Street West and Manatee Avenue/SR64 without permission. It read "Trump 2020 No More Bulls***" and was placed in a high-traffic area that regularly sees traffic snarls during rush hour. The police spokesperson said the flag "was pretty high" and they were unable to take it down. So, they referred the issue to the city of Bradenton's Public Works Department. Jeannie Roberts, public information officer for the city of Bradenton, said a work order had been placed with Public Works and staff would remove the flag Monday morning.
