I am helping a friend who needs to rehome her pup as she is currently dealing with some unexpected health issues and is not able to keep up with the demands of raising a puppy. She is an almost 6 month old Austrailian Shepherd/ German Shepherd mix. She has the sweetest disposition, and is good with other animals. She loves playing with big dogs, she also plays well with little dogs, she is not too rough at all. She likes to try to chase cats but only because she wants to play and find out what they're all about. She knows some basic commands such as sit and stay but doesn't always listen lol. She is super smart and a fast learner for someone who has the time for her. She has been around children ages 4 and 8 and plays with them well but she does still jump up a little or play bite but when you tell her " no bite" she quits. She has been an inside/outside dog so still has some accidents if left only inside. Having a fenced yard is a must. She LOVES TO RUN and play. She has been on a leash, she doesn't necessarily like it but she will walk/ run ok on it. If you take her outside to potty on a leash she spends most of that time just running back and forth lol. She loves toys, ropes are her favorite. My friend would like to see her pup go to someone who has the time and space for her. She would make a fabulous family dog, or companion dog.
