Description

*Free to good home* Peanut is an 8-10 month-old female Chihuahua mix. I'm not sure what the other breed is, but it might be Jack Russel Terrior because she can jump really high. I rescued her from a local dog rescue when she was 3 months old. I have another dog who is an older Chihuahua/Yorkie mix and she is not adjusting well to having her in the family. I feel bad for Peanut and want her to be somewhere she can be accepted by other pets. All the humans in my house love Peanut, but the older dog just won't accept her. I considered rehoming the older dog, but she has been in my family for a long time and would be hard to rehome given her crotchety behavior. I will be very picky about where Peanut goes. She's a ton of fun, very sweet, and mostly potty trained. She is high-energy and loves to play with people and other dogs. She will fetch sometimes and she gets the zoomies a lot. So a yard or regular walks are important for her. When she walks in the grass, she hops like a bunny sometimes. When she's tired, she likes to snuggle up and be held close. She often sleeps in my shirt while I'm working from home. If you (or someone you know) is wanting a fun dog to do things with who isn't too big, she's perfect! I would provide her bed, her toys, and her leash/collar. She is up to date on her shots, has been neutered, and doesn't have any health issues. Please email if interested.
