The Collision Center Polisher is primarily responsible for polishing vehicles, prep vehicles and will assist with shop duties as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
• Cut and buff, prepping panels, masking panels, block sanding, mixing primer, spraying primer, minimal bodywork, mixing paint and mixing clear coat.
• Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.
• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective repair.
• Sand, mask, blend, and polish finish matching surrounding areas. Apply or retouch paint as necessary.
Job Requirements:
• Ability to work in high performance, fast paced team environment
• Working knowledge of shop equipment
• Ability to deal with exposure to fumes, chemicals, high level of dust and noise
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift/carry objects over 50 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• MUST be able to wear protective equipment, including a respirator
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stopping required
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills required
