Reports to Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. Work directly with Technicians, Subcontractors, Internal Departments (Scheduling, Purchasing, Quality Control, Safety, HR, Shipping/ Receiving) to assist Project manager or Assistant Project Manager in planning, coordinating, execution, and closeout of construction project activities to ensure they are delivered on time, within the budgeted hours and daily project performance is maintained to Company and Client standards. Construction Foreman is responsible for daily supervision of the jobsite and directions to Technicians and Subcontractors to ensure project deliverables are met. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Deliver projects on or under provided labor hours budget * Complete project on time or under assigned project finish date * Deliver consistent and high-quality work and maintain expected company standards * Enforce field safe work practices * Maintain daily project schedules to ensure on-time delivery, report any changes. * Supervise technicians and subcontractors (scheduling, quality of work, jobsite cleanliness, clear-daily expectations. * Verify, walk, and note your project progress twice a day. * Enforce jobsite code of conduct * Report and document employee misconduct to Project Manager and HR Manager * Mentor and train new technicians * Maintain all project documents - permits, plans, sign offs * Conduct daily huddles with technicians to discuss daily schedule and set expectations * Report weekly/daily project progress to Project Manager * Review and approve daily time sheets for your technicians before they leave the jobsite * Ensure jobsite has tools and materials needed to accomplish scheduled tasks * Collaborate and assist Project Manager with material take off list * Schedule city inspections * Enforce and maintain project start times, finish times, lunch times and breaks Qualifications * Must be proficient in three or more areas of construction (drywall, electrical, plumbing, carpentry) * Excellent Time-Management skills and communication skills * Understanding of construction contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications * Ability to direct technicians and subcontractors * Ability to always represent the company and our clients in a professional manner to ensure company quality, policies, procedures and compliance to all applicable contracts, laws, and regulations * Excellent and constant communication skills * Have or willing to learn basic computer/phone skills Microsoft Office, Clock Shark and Smartsheet Physical Demands Position performance will require the regular physical ability to climb ladders and scaffolding, frequently stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee may have to lift and or move up to 50lbs. Work Environment Performing the duties, the employee will regularly be in an on-site construction environment where they may be exposed to moving mechanical components and equipment, high and sub grade places, fumes and or airborne particles, weather conditions, and electrical systems.
