WTD Equipment is a sustainably growing equipment dealership, currently serving the Arbor Industry along the west coast. WTD is in need of a highly skilled Field Equipment Mechanic to help take our dealership network to the next level. If hired, you will receive a $5k bonus upon completion of your 6 month anniversary! Job Duties: Keep self and others safe through safe work practices and communication. Follow all OSHA regulations Effectively communicate with customers, vendors and colleagues verbally and in writing. Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on trucks and equipment in the field and shop, as needed. We service all makes and models of wood chippers, stump grinders, horizontal grinders, tub grinders, mini skid steers, articulating compact mini loaders, aerial lifts, bucket and chip trucks and much more. Perform welding as needed. Be mindful of work environment and take necessary precautions to prevent equipment damage and environmental hazards. Keep service truck clean, organized, and stocked. Keep work areas clean and organized. Assist colleagues with other duties as requested. Job Requirements: M-F, 8am to 5pm schedule. 40 hours per week guaranteed. Occasional overtime is available depending on business needs, but these can be scheduled in advance. Must be safety minded and use PPE as required. Have own tools(hand tools, basic electrical testing and air or battery power tools). Field service experience required. Maintenance, repair, and diagnostic experience in the automotive, truck and/or equipment industries. Welding experience preferred. Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Able to travel when needed. Must have and maintain clean driving record. Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening(including DOT physical) as well as random DOT drug testing Class A CDL preferred. Basic computer skills are a must. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb on or underneath equipment. Compensation Medical (HSA)/Dental/Vision 401k Plan-3% employer contribution Company paid holidays. PTO for your birthday!
