LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL — Manatee County Sheriff's Office are seeking an unknown suspect that broke into an enclosed lanai at a Lakewood Ranch home while carrying a rifle on Dec. 1. The suspect cut through the screen door to enter the lanai at a home in the Greenbrook/Summerfield area of Lakewood Ranch around 3:30 a.m., the sheriff's office said in a news release. The sheriff's office is seeking information about this suspect who broke into the lanai of a Lakewood Ranch home Dec. 1 while carrying a rifle. (Manatee County Sheriff's Office)The home's security system captured the suspect, who was armed with a rifle, walking slowly around the pool deck. The video, which the sheriff's office shared on Twitter, didn't show the person entering the pool cage or leaving the property. Their height could range from 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and they weigh between 150 and 180 pounds. Like what you're reading?
