Hi, I'm Agatha🎀 (Best as a only dog in home or proper separation). I am set to be euthanized May 3rd. Why am I E-listed? STRESS!!...I’m REALLY struggling BAD!! I am jumping, barking, and pacing in my kennel. It’s just not humane to keep me here. Can you save my life? I’m a 3-year-old, spayed, black and brown German Shepherd mix (63lbs.) It seems like I can’t catch a break!! I’ve been at the shelter 3 times, twice as a stray. How sad....I just want a forever home that won't give up on me! I have a calm disposition when out of my kennel (see my videos). I walk nicely on-leash without pulling, and take treats gently. It takes me a while to "warm up" to people so please be patient with me, my life has been unstable for a while! Current vet notes say I am losing weight (could be stress). I haven’t had a dog-to-dog evaluation; however, the shelter is requiring me to be an only dog because of an altercation with a “pushy female” while living in a pack outside the shelter setting. It is possible that with a proper introduction, I could live with a calm dog. It is recommended that I meet the entire family before going home, and that I have an experienced adopter that understands what a stress dog needs…plenty of time to relax and unwind as well as a predictable routine and exercise.
