JOB TITLE: Facility Operator PAY: $25/hr (paid bi-monthly via direct deposit) HOURS: 2-5 hours per week START DATE: As soon as possible OVERVIEW: Bolt Storage is looking to hire a part-time Facility Operator to help maintain two of our self-storage facilities in Christiansburg, VA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for side work or to supplement an existing full-time job. Schedules are extremely flexible and based around your prior obligations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The goal of the Facility Operator is to maintain the overall health and security of our facility. The scope of services include the following: ● Cleaning storage units ● Disposing of items left behind by tenant ● Cutting locks (using an angle grinder) ● Keeping buildings and lot free from trash/debris ● Taking photos for auctions ● Fixing broken latches (to the extent you're able) ● Fixing broken doors (to the extent you're able) ● Keeping gates/cameras functioning and on-line ● Documenting, diagnosing, and communicating issues w/ facilities REQUIREMENTS: ● 1 day per week of availability (at least 2 hours per week) ● Clear and responsive communication ● Ability to use smartphone task management app ● Ability to lift over 75lbs ● Attention to detail ● Responsible and reliable work ethic ● Reliable Transportation ● Smart Phone If you are interested in the position please reply and a member of our Property Management team will reach out with more information.
