Description
Leroy and Nova are super sweet lionhead mixes I recently came into possession of when their owners were unable to provide adequate care of them. Leroy is about a year old, fuzzy brown (pictured) and is an intact male, Nova is I believe his littermate and is an albino intact female. They were both in very poor condition when I acquired them but have been steadily putting on weight and are well enough that I'm looking to find them permanent homes.
They are both sweet, inquisitive and curious bunnies. They were housed together their whole lives but were in such poor body condition (especially the female) that they have never had any babies. I separated them when I took them in, and I'd preferably like to hang onto Nova long enough to ensure she does not have any surprise babies on board.
They can either go to the same home and remain separated, or spayed/neutered to be housed together, or they can go to separate homes, preferably with other bunnies present. Leroy will likely need to be fixed if he is to be housed with other males and he is a hormonal little fellow and I was unable to acclimate him to my group of males (he seems less interested in fighting but is quite the humper). Nova is quite passive and mixed in well with my female colony.
There will be a small rehoming fee to ensure they go to a good home, and they will come with some hay, pellets and if needed I can send a small travel cage. They can go to either experienced bunny owners, or beginners who are interested in learning more and I can provide guiding and assistance. Let me know if you have any questions!
