We are seeking an enthusiastic Retail Associate to help us run our merchandise booth during Movement Festival happening at the end of May. By bringing our merchandise booth to Detroit during Movement Festival, we aim to grow the community of 6AM through providing apparel that connects people from all walks of life through the culture of House + Techno. Event dates - Saturday 5/28, Sunday 5/29, Monday, 5/30 You don't have to work all three days, you can just pick one day if you would prefer. We work efficiently and as a team to deliver for our guests You enjoy interacting with people all day and making things easy for others…. Interacting with guests, solving concerns and making the guests day better is core of what we do Responsibilities may include: Set up and break down merchandise booths in a timely manner. Welcoming guests into our store and providing assistance as needed Preparing merchandise orders with care Make a connection with guests by engaging in friendly and genuine conversation throughout each transaction Maintain a clean, clutter free work area Make guests aware of current and upcoming store benefits and promotions. Qualifications: Ability to communicate and interact with guests to build an inclusive experience Ability to blend problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns Ability to adapt to different guest interactions and situations Experience in retail is preferred but not necessary. Additional Information Compensation - $200 per day / 11HRS of paid work. The shop hours will be split between opening and closing shifts. Call Time / Set Up Time (1HR) - 12PM-1PM Opening Store Hours (7 HRS) - 1PM-8PM Break & Meal Time (2 HRS) - 8PM-10PM Closing Store Hours (3 HRS) - 10PM-1AM This will be the game plan for the first day of the festival, however the hours may be adjusted on the following days in efforts to streamline and maximize our efforts. (The time for the meal will not be paid; however, your dinner expenses will be covered.) Location - To be announced, Location and Map Point to be shared. Breaks - You will be allowed a 10-minute break every 4 hours as well as a 2 hour dinner break. Restrooms - We will use a local business around the area.
