Help 'Fill The Truck' At The Bradenton Police Toy Drive

BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Blue Foundation hosts its annual "Fill the Truck" toy drive Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the headquarters of the Bradenton Police Department, which tweeted about the event Thursday. Headquarters is located at 100 10th Street West in Bradenton. Those unable to make Saturday's event can check out the Bradenton Blue Foundation's Amazon Gift List. After picking out a toy, when checking out, select "Gift Registry Address" to make sure the items are sent directly to the Bradenton Police Department. The Bradenton Blue Foundation was created to support Bradenton police officers and the community by raising funds for specialty training, safety equipment and outreach programs. Chief Melanie Bevan will attend the toy drive from 11 a.m. to noon for "Chat with the Chief," a conversation with the community. Like what you're reading?
