What's up good people. I'm a singer, songwriter born in Mississippi, settled in Deep Ellum, Texas. Freddy Morris aka Freddy With The Vest (My wardrobe is 90% vests lol). Made my way up north to attend Columbia Univ in NYC, now I'm here baby; Looking to link up with a band in the area and hit some venues. My style: Versatile, I'm a lover of music. I'm a lead vocalist with big personality but off stage an introverted bookworm. I've performed in New York City, Africa, and Texas a few times. I'm most inspired by my cousin Tracy Chapman and the southern cadence but grew up listening to a lot of Michael Jackson. Currently doing a deep dive into Nirvana and Kurt's style.
