NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — Eight fire departments battled a massive blaze at an abandoned North Amityville home Sunday night. Suffolk police confirmed that the fire occurred on Columbus Boulevard at 10:15 p.m. Photo credit: Bryan Lopez Members of the North Amityville Fire Department responded along with assistance from the Amityville, East Farmingdale, Farmingdale, Copiague, Massapequa, Lindenhurst, and North Lindenhurst fire departments.
