The Hampton Roads Workforce Council in partnership with several area schools (on the Peninsula and the Southside) is offering a Free Welding certification course for individuals.
The 11 Week program (valued at 9000 dollars) provides
Level 1, 2 and 3 Welding certifications
Blueprint Reading
OSHA 10 certification
Emergency First Responder
Supplemental support (up to 2000 dollars )is also available to help with expenses such as transportation and/or childcare.
