Keg operator job description: The keg operator is responsible for operating on all machines including the canning line and canning kegging and packaging in the production area. Applicants should know how to successfully drive a forklift, to move palettes. Other duties may include cleaning the floors, outsides of tanks, miscellaneous parts, floor drains, filtration equipment, brewery office/lab work area, cellar racks, containers, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: • Operating canning line; including packaging • Cleaning materials and equipment • Keeps all equipment in good working order • Respect the working instructions, safety instructions • Filling kegs • Ensure ending cleaning of the equipment and the production area Key Skills: • Organizational skills • Team working skills • Technical skills • At least one year of experience working on a canning line or in a brewery Physical Requirements: • Ability to consistently lift and carry 10 pounds, frequently and safely lift 70 pounds to chest height and move up to 165 pounds • Ability to stand for the entire shift, up to ten hours • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, push, lift, kneel, and reach • Ability to work around extreme noise levels • Ability to consistently use repetitive hand and wrist motion • Ability to be frequently exposed to wet, hot, and cold conditions, and hazardous equipment • Ability to climb stairs several times per day At Molson Coors, the health and safety of our team members is our number one priority.
