If you thought the cost of higher education was high now just wait until the academy begins to fully exploit the new model that the student passes the bill onto the government. There will be no restraint on college fees whatsoever. Once begun it will expand until all 'education', post K-12, will be 'free'. The kicker is that the cancelled student loans will become long term DC debt and that debt will be paid by those very students and generations to come in the form of higher taxes, diminished services and a destroyed state. What could go wrong? Why is this not called greed? I pay a millage assessment on my property taxes for the local community college. How do I not pay this assessment and get the tax debt cancelled?
