QC Technician--30& Buckner Primary Duties: • Inspects and tests packaged products to meet scheduled ship dates. • Conducts first article and line clearance inspections of packaging lines • Conducts Pre weight Line Clearance inspections • Conducts Compounding and Filling Equipment Sanitation Inspections • At the direction of the Lead QC Technician, coordinates and arranges for raw material and finished product microbiological and other testing conducted by external laboratories. • Samples and inspects raw material ingredients and packaging at the direction of the QC Laboratory Manager releases them for production. • Enters batch and finished good testing and release results in MS Access Database • Maintains Retained FG, Bulk & Raw Material sample storage and logbooks • Create Certificates of Analysis or other batch or packaging lot related documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirements. • Conducts weekly testing of USP Purified Water Other Responsibilities: Uses good time management, performs work in a safe and efficient manner. Is supportive of all plant, OSHA, safety regulations while using the prescribed personal protective gear and gloves, mask, gown, etc. as required by the materials handled and plant policy. Perform other duties as required, which includes but is not limited to assisting other departments as needed in various capacities. Minimum Qualifications: Read and write in English Prior experience with MS Office Applications Prior experience in manufacturing environment or related field preferred Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds Forklift experience a plus Expectations of Employment: Work cooperatively with fellow employees, supervisory and management personnel. Good personal hygiene is mandatory. Communicate in a courteous manner to all personnel. Working conditions: Day Shift hours are M - F, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Night Shift, M – F, 2:30 pm. – 11:00 p.m., or as assigned. 40 hours per week minimum.
