Leading Chicago design build firm is seeking a metal fabricator to add to our team. Must have at least 5 years of experience in metal fabrication for custom furniture and architectural elements Qualifications: - Ability to read shop drawings and architectural plans with accuracy - Clear understanding of fabrication methods from design to finish - Ability to measure, layout, cut, dimension, and prepare materials for assemble - MIG weld various thicknesses of steel - TIG weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum and bronze - Grind, chase and prepare surfaces for finish - Some patina experience a plus - Must have valid driver’s license Compensation will be based on experience and bench test performance Please email resume
