BUILDING/EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR This new position will focus on the maintenance and repair of our plant’s buildings, machinery, equipment and rolling stock. No "certifications" required. Most vehicle repairs and maintenance are done at a qualified repair shop. This position will conduct minor truck and trailer repairs along with our plant's upkeep. Scope of work will include any maintenance or repair that safely falls within the employee’s skill level. The position will be classified as non-exempt, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed and approved by their supervisor. Responsibilities: • Maintain buildings, machinery, equipment and rolling stock in a safe, operational condition. • Conduct preventative maintenance in order to assure safety, uninterrupted use and prolong lifespan. • Repair buildings, machinery, equipment and rolling stock within the safe scope of employee’s skills and abilities. • Coordinate with third-party contractors any maintenance or repairs beyond employee’s abilities. Required skills: • Proficient in welding. • Excellent maintenance and repair skills for building and machinery. • Knowledge of small engine maintenance and repair. • Understanding of hydraulic systems and their troubleshooting. • Knowledge of all applicable OSHA safety requirements. Other requirements: • Driver’s license with acceptable driving record. • DOT medical card (can be obtained after employment) A $1,500 bonus will be paid upon successful completion of your 90 days of service.
