I know Craigslist isn't the best place to find quality musicians, but I'm hoping for the diamond in the rough. We've been together 7 years, we play often and have the best gear available. We play everything.. rock, metal, country, rap, r&b, 80's, easy listening, soul and everything else. WE ARE VERY HIGH ENERGY. We have shitloads of fun. We need an amazingly fun, talented, committed bass player. Committed is the key word. Young guys who are willing to learn are cool. Older guys who are fun and have high energy are cool. HIGH ENGERY, no mopers please. If you are a "professional cover band guy" this isn't for you. If you need to play music to make rent this isn't for you. If you play in other bands, this isn't for you. If you can't remember songs and need sheet music onstage, this isn't for you. If you don't know what the Circle of Fifths is, this isn't for you. If you struggle learning new music, this isn't for you. If you don't live in SOUTH OC, this isn't for you. If you are easily offended, this DEFINITELY is not for you. If you take yourself too seriously, this isn't for you. If you can't play long sets without needing to sit down, this isn't for you. If you aren't a fun, social person, this isn't for you. If I give you a list of songs and you ask me "Who is Earth Wind & Fire", or "Who sings The Trooper", this isn't for you. If you're a tweaker or a drunk or a cokehead this isn't for you. If your first question about a gig is "how much does it pay" or "do we get a bar tab", this isn't for you. If you need to get high every 8 minutes or drink all night to play music, this isn't for you. If you're a negative whiney type, this isn't for you. If you don't have a wife or girlfriend or friends who want to come see you play music, then you're probably a weirdo or guilty of one of the above items and this isn't for you. All gigs are paid, but none of us play because we need the money. We do it because we love playing music. We would do it for free, WE DON'T, but money isn't the reason we do it. When a guy is there for the money, it shows. If you're fun and committed and not a drug guy and not a drunk or angry and you live in SOUTH OC and want to play great music with a really fun band and make a little dough, hit me up. Sorry if reading this has offended anyone. That's a lie. I'm really not.
