hola looking for confident, motivated humans who are interested in contributing to this project, forming a tight outfit for recording and touring, producing sounds with artistic/commercial appeal i recently completed my mfa at pnca - this project is an extension of my thesis, an experimental digital novel. i may start a phd program next year but i'd rather be making ambitious art/music, playing live the project in the link below was created at home with instruments and ipad while i was working on the book/academic stuff. there are many different sounds/genres involved, which are representative of my creative interests and openness as an artist if the music appeals to you and you feel like you could bring something to the project, help bring it to life live, your ideas and voice will be heard, respected and integrated into the work, with credit where due; would also be cool to establish a creative camaraderie for future projects i’m a pretty good player (grew up playing jazz sax, shifted to guitar/keys/producing), but my focus in a band would be the singing/producing, playing with others who are more accomplished with their tools this project seeks focused, inspired creators who are down-to-earth, intelligent and like to laugh, and possibly have a background in classical or jazz, but also love post-punk or new wave those that are not self aware, are rude jerks, reckless, condescending, or overly-precious, move along. this project and my general human m.o. is based on working hard at fun work and exploration/experimentation https://kemperkavinaugh1.bandcamp.com/album/across-the-river-beyond-the-treeline-orignial-score-demos
