Hello, We are seeking someone at $16/hour plus housing (if desired) *If no housing is desired we can pay $23/hour. Working Monday through Thursday and one weekend evening. So 8am to 5pm-4 days/week. Plus 4 hours, a total of 40 hours a week. (We can work with your schedule! And sometimes we won’t need a “date night.”) We are looking for someone who is a teacher, someone who has a background in early child hood development or has worked with kids who have special needs. The needs of our 2 year old are not substantial but he is behind. We want him to have daily activities and work on language. He has one day of support from Clackamas county. So this is the unique part of the situation, we also have a grown son, age 18 who is wonderful. He has Down Syndrome. We would hope you could work with him as well on reading—daily activities. Our older son would only need care (we estimate) 2 of the 4 days. He is SUPER easy and has no behavioral issues, a very loving and happy kid. We have a very large tiny home (24’) that is on a fenced area of our property so you would have privacy. It has a loft with a king bed. It’s very nice ! So you would make: $2500-2600 a month but also have your own well located home that is relatively private and away from our home. You would do daily activities and read to the kids, do art projects. We have a sweet puppy who you’d need to watch if/when we are working. We are both self employed. Also prepare healthy foods. You may need to occasionally drive the kids so you’d have to have transportation and insurance. We will cover gas. We are open to a live-in or live out nanny/teacher.
