Three stooges in their mid to late 20's looking for a drummer, bassist, or lead guitarist to complete a recently formed classic rock-friendly indie punk band. Skill level less important than work ethic, showmanship, and personal connection. We're willing to work with a relative amateur if the chemistry is right. We're mainly looking for someone who can match our vibe; scrappy competition drinkers with a taste for adventure, in love with the romantic idea of bar-hopping across the map in a ramshackle van and unloading amps between hangovers, equally prone to bouts of merrymaking, mischief, and melancholy, who will take things seriously where it counts, and not a step further. Y'know, chumps. Drummers can use our kit for conveniences sake. Same with cabs for bassists and guitar players. Line up is currently two guitarists and a drummer, but we can all shift around as needed. We've learned a couple of covers already, but our singer is a pretty prolific songwriter and has started working on some originals too. Goal is to start gigging and working on making a record as soon as possible. We've all played different instruments in many other bands over the last 10-ish years and have done our share of gigging/recording/touring, so once we get a line up finalized things can move ahead pretty quickly. Influences are mostly early punk, powerpop, and classic rock, but we like pretty much anything with strong melodies and a beat you can dance to: The Rolling Stones, Cheap Trick, The Ramones, Buzzcocks, The Replacements, Neil Young, T Rex, Chuck Berry, The Strokes, New York Dolls, The Monkees, The Who, Tom Petty, Faces/Rod Stewart, Kings Of Leon, Big Star, The Exploding Hearts, Descendents, The White Stripes, David Bowie, Sugar Ray, Skid Row, Howlin' Wolf, Jewel, Burt Bacharach, Chet Baker, Dr. Demento, Lenny Kaye's Nuggets, Motown, show tunes, sea shanties, cowboy laments, etc...
