D&G Couriers & Transports HIRING 10 independent contractors for delivery driver position with OWN EQUIPMENT in Houston, TX. MUST OWN, LEASE, OR RENT A CARGO VAN OR BOX TRUCK. Experience & Skills 1 Year Driving Education & Certificates High school diploma or GED Job Type Full-time Part-time Contract Driver's License (Required) We are seeking an independent contractor that owns a cargo, sprinter van, 12' 16', 24' or 26 ft. box truck for local and regional delivery work. Monday thru Saturday run from greater Houston areas within 116 miles route. Must be willing to submit to and pass a Background Check, MVR and Drug and Alcohol Screen. 1. Must OWN/lease a Cargo, Sprinter van, and/or 12', 16', 20', 24' or 26' Box Truck. 2. Must possess a valid Driver's License. 3. Must have the ability to read, write and understand English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc. 4. Must have the ability to properly operate hand held mini-computer (hand scanner) when required. 5. Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems. 6. Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract.
