I am wanting to put together or join a funky/blues group doing half originals, half covers. I play lead/rhythm guitar and sing. Between needing a bassist, drummer, keys and/or sax, I want at least one of those to share lead vocal duties with me. It is *crucial* to me that the group members show up prepared (work their parts out before rehearsal), are interested in gigging a minimum of three times a month, and willing to invest themselves into the group. If I have to learn the parts for you, don't bother replying. I'm in my 50's, have been playing a very long time, I have solid gear, and no drugs/drinking/or drama problems. I don't care about your gender or your age. I am not looking for full-time, I have a family and work, but I am looking for more than just an every now and then gig. I'm thinking musical styles along the lines of Popa Chubby, Hamilton Loomis, Bryce Janey, Jonny Lang, Mike Zito, Tab Benoit, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, SRV, Eric Gales, etc.
