Press release from the City of Boca Raton: August 20, 2020 The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be closing the SR A1A / Haven Ashe Bridge over the Boca Raton Inlet to vehicular traffic beginning August 24 for a maximum of 60 days for painting of the steel and concrete portions of the bridge. The bridge will remain in the open position for marine traffic during this time. Traffic will be detoured to Federal Highway via East Palmetto Park Road and Hillsboro Boulevard.
