Aloha, I am seeking a loving family to share my talents with as a nanny and I’m open to exploring other creative roles in working with children as well. Working with children and parents is my greatest passion. I’m a mother of two (8 and 10 y/o) and I have lived on Maui for over two years. During that time I’ve taught life skills, conscious communication and mindfulness in three keiki homeschool programs. I show up fully, play hard, meet my responsibilities and get to the heart in every matter. Happy to answer more questions and get to know more about you and your family :) More about my skills: I help children connect the dots through body awareness, positive external self-verbalization, noticing cause and effect and creative inquisition. The child then harnesses the power to act intrinsically I teach by role modeling, allowing children to show up as they are, participate and digest the experience at their own natural pace (allowing their interest and confidence to grow naturally) and feel a sense of self pride and accomplishment when they take a step towards something new. I offer role modeling that cultivates a more worldly child who embodies gratitude, passion, cooperation, interconnectedness, compassion, respect, integrity and natural inclination to express apology and manners without prompting. I give children choices I support children to be independent thinkers, master vast emotional capacity and embody powerful intuition. I value bonds with the entire family, building morale, fostering trust and unconditional love, role modeling connection and co-creating a strong team that sticks together during challenges and works together intuitively I possess affection, compassion, patience and centeredness. I quickly master obstacles, maintain sense of humor, easily transcend personal differences. Excellent team building skills.
