APC Vacuum Excavation is hiring Equipment Operators/Laborer. About APC: APC Vacuum Excavation provides vacuum excavation and non-destructive utility locating services. At APC we work alongside public utility companies and large construction companies, using state of the art Gapvax vacuum trucks. We are located in Bridgewater, MA. and work primarily in Boston, Providence and Worcester. Job Description: The position involves using a vacuum truck and compressed air/high pressure water to perform excavations. Most days are outside digging holes and trenches. The job sometimes involves confined space cleaning and pipe cleaning. The position is labor intensive hard work. Long days, nights and weekends at times. Lots of over time. Working away from home is sometime required, but 95% of work is within 1 hour of Boston. Ideal candidate will be a self-motivated who is willing to work with others to accomplish a task. No two days are the same and each day has its own challenges. Candidate must be able to maintain calm and positive in difficult situations.
