Description
I'd estimate a half to full day of work. Looking for someone to help me finish my recessed lighting project, specifically with regards to hooking up to the breaker/panel and creating/wiring a few additional switches. I need someone who is licensed that can verify that the IC-rated recessed lights I purchased are in fact IC-rated... a stipulation of the Mass Save program.
By the time we meet, I hope to have all my light fixtures installed and wired together. I'd like help hooking them up to power. Most rooms already have switches that control an outlet which will be easy to repurpose. Hoping to do those myself but may need help. The living room will require the construction of 2-3 new switches, and the spare room will need one as well. Will need to create/repurpose a switch for an exhaust fan in the bathroom as well.
One family residential home built in the 60s. There is a full attic to make the work easier. I'm trying to complete this ASAP so I can arrange the Mass Save guys to come over and blow the attic with insulation. As stated earlier, I need someone licensed to OK my lights/housings before they will insulate over them.... I think there's a form we'll have to fill out.
I'm off work May 2, 4, 7, 10, and any day from the 13th on. I can meet with you (at some point) on any of those days. This is a one man job... if you need any help (running wire for the switches for example) I'm happy to assist. Lunch/water/beer is on me.
